All Hail the SNOW Gods.
I haven’t worked in almost a month so every week feels like a month. I’m not complaining, I’m just saying. I know all the shows on HGTV and am faithfully signing up to win the Dream Home in Vermont so Trey and I have a place to settle once we are done traveling. But I’m ready to trade this slow ticking clock in for the comforts of camper living. Every step in this camper process has taken twice as long as we thought. Finally, tomorrow we are suppose to drive down to Portland and pick up the camper but it’s snowing and snowing and turning to ice tomorrow. Trey and I have no interest in driving the camper on icy roads. Trey is certain we won’t be able to pick up the camper and I am my usual hopeful self. I guess we will just have to see how things look in the morning and make our decision.

camper-time
After changing our minds about five times we have finally placed a down payment on the mac daddy camper of our dreams. AND it is not the one we were showing off in the brochure. But it is made by the same company.
The camper with island and swivel TV was/is awesome. But after multiple lookieloos we realized that the storage was lacking. It had a lot of bling bling but after searching for places to put things like shoes and clothes we realized just how cramped we would be. AND the shower is a joke. (You will see in the video)
Alas, the triple pop out had multiple storage areas, a bigger wardrobe, and larger shower. Little less bling and a little more storage pop! Trey and I are very happy with our decision and can’t wait to get on the road.
The next step in this process is to get the truck fitted with the camper. We plan on doing that this weekend; should take a few days.
Looks like it won’t be much longer before we have a bye bye date.
(Random side note)
We are still trying to sell everything that we own. I waited two hours today for a woman who was going to look at our bookshelves and desk. All she bought was $2 worth of kitchen crap…sigh.
Hope you enjoy the camper video. The camper you see at the end of the video is the one we are buying!
